Not much point squirting stuff down exit holes.. Better to soak it in the stuff and leave it out in the frost suitably bagged for a few weeks. In my previous life I did a fair bit of house repairing (qualified joiner) and our company had what I considered a potentially lethal device.. an open ended microwave cooker. Magnetron in a box with open waveguide section on one end which was pushed around the "affected area" to literally cook them in the wood.
I often wondered considering the general incoherence and low IQ level of my co-workers how effective it could have been at improving the future gene pool if deployed in a casual way in their direction. I used it more than once to brew up on site.. place cup of water inside waveguide, point it at the wall and fire it up.. brought water to boil in about 30 seconds.
I wonder if somebody can't get inventive with a "dead" microwave and create such a device for killing worms in large cabinets.
p.s.. Mark and Steve saw my old place.. it's no wonder I have these suspect and potentially dangerous ideas after 10 years living in a derelict building.
