May not, at first anyway, move the books from the old Kindle to the new. I guess you are not allowed to have them on both else you could give another person the old to read 'your' library.

Many books are up to 5 devices.
Any where the Publisher says DRM Free are unlimited, but the KFX format on newer Kindles always has DRM.
