Lovely car Peter and I enjoyed looking at the pictures and reading whats been done to it over the years. Alas too ancient to be interested in buying it.
Good luck finding a buyer and I commiserate on your illness. Gary

A lovely car indeed. I hope it finds a new home where it will be treasured.
Ruth and I send all best wishes to you and Pam.

For obscure family reasons, my grandmother, wife of my coal miner grandfather (she died before I was born) was gifted an SS 100 (before WWII)
Of course during fuel rationing, it ended up in a shed. My father used to jack it up and turn the tyres to stop them getting a flat spot. Post WWII, and after his mother's death he sold it. For £80.

I recall the garage down the road that contained an XK140.
The canal company was overjoyed when they found it as the garages were demolished. It went away on a tow truck. The milkman who'd owned it originally had another one (crashed) that he used for spare parts.
