Goblin Swan 860 Teasmade

Acquired a Teasmade, 1982 Swan 860 made by Goblin Vac Co. 
A transition model when Goblin started to manufacture for Swan.
All works but how do I get the light cover off to check the bulbs?
Does anyone collect these?

I don't how it comes apart.
Of course people collect Teasmade models and radio collectors collect the ones with radios in them.

The snag is the milk unless you drink tea/coffee black. OK in half the year before central heating. The wife thinks a well trained husband is far better.

I've a Goblin Teasmade in the attic with a radio in it. The radio might be a Grundig. Some might have been made in Northern Ireland (near Newtownards, or Bangor before WWII) and NI also had a Grundig plant near Belfast. The Leatherhead label on some Goblin products might be fiction.
Also they owned a time card company and some models might have been using those clocks.
The British Vac company still did industrial vacuum cleaners when I last looked, but the Goblin brand along with many others (Burco, Russel Hobbs etc) was bought by Glen-Dimplex and international conglomerate that may outsource nearly everything to Chinese OEMs.

"The snag is the milk" surely these days a TEC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoelectric_cooling) would make it last 'till the morning. I was asked to repair one of these for the inlaws, "no problem", I said. Once in the workshop the missus came in and told me it was un repairable because mother doesn't like it. Probably the only repair I have given up on.

I don't believe any have that.
They are quite expensive and inefficient, but that's a separate issue. A well insulated compartment for the milk would mean a small one or none at all would be needed. However none of the ones I've seen have any built in storage for milk, sugar or anything else.

People that are not fussy could of course use tea or instant coffee and UHT milk, though instant coffee powder will go noticeably sticky and more bitter exposed over night. I proved this to my dad many years ago because he had bought a giant catering tin for the three of us. I put a teaspoon of the powder at teatime in a cup. He didn't take sugar. He tried it at breakfast time and after that only bought smallest jars!

I gave up instant coffee a couple of years later, though not ground coffee.
