Hacker radio repair

I am local to the S side of Glasgow. Is there anyone in my area who would repair a Hacker radio? One of the battery connections needs re soldering and the volume control is faulty and probably needs replacing.

A few months ago I'd have said definitely yes. I'm giving up repairs now, as a one off I don't mind resoldering your battery connection and cleaning the control but that's as far as I wish to go, if the control is faulty then I'm sorry I can't commit to replace it

Thanks for the response. The battery contact I could manage myself but I would be unhappy to tackle the volume control. It may just need cleaning to remove the noise but it might require replacing. I am not so far from Kilmarnock. I could deliver it to you and you could have a look at it.

Most likely do it while you wait.
Not getting bogged down now with radios and TVs all lying around. At nearly 70 it's time for family and my own interests.
