Very thought provoking entry Nick: I shall read it more than once
I guess it depends what Apps you want to run: I have used CorelDraw a lot for diagrams, decals and even multi- screen silk screens. Took me a few years to get where I am with it now and I wouldnt want to start with another that runs on Linux, assuming there is one as good. Same with CorelPaint. So thats one reason I stick to Windows.
Quite a few more Apps that I wouldnt want to re-learn.
So nothing against Linus but the best App is the one you know and have a lot of experience with.
thanks Gary
