Mystory dongle

I have found a dongle of some kind in a box of junk.
It has two contacts on the square end on a sealed block.
The other end comes undone and has a reed switch in it.
There is no printing on either end.
Has anyone any idea what it came off?

Hi Ref,
I'm not certain, but it looks like some kind of charging station or docking part for a handheld device, e.g. radio.
At least the square end with the two contacts does - the other bit might just be a magnet operated switch.

I doubt it is a charger as there is no mains input.
There is only two contacts on the square bit.

Looks like part of a bicycle speedo/computer. The square part attaches to handlebars; the other end with the reed switch is tie-wrapped to a fork. The computer itself slides off for safe keeping.

FWIW, I used to put keyboards keys-down in an empty dishwasher and run it.

KB came out like new - I had to open the KB up and leave it in an airing cupboard or similar for a couple of days, standing on end, but they were always fine.

A push bike sensor does make sense. There may be nothing in the square bit.
I will measure it later if I can get that bass speaker magnet off the radiator by the back door. A dog ate the cone off the speaker before I saved the magnet.
I clean the keys one at a time. They come off with a hook.
I would not put the whole keyboard in water as it is an original PS2 with real switches.
