switching studio monitors on/off

Hi all
I'm setting my Yamaha HS5 studio monitors with a KRK 8S2 in my office environment. The HS5 are on stands near to the back wall but in a position that will make it difficult (but not impossible) to get to their on/off switch every time in use. Is there a safe/better way of doing this remotely as I don't the idea of switching them off via an extension lead?

I use sonoff WiFi & RF switches for my workshop lights...

They're great as it means whenever I get back to the house and have left the workshop lights on, I can remotely control them over WiFi.

You can also use local RF switches with the same units, so you can move the light switches to wherever you are in the workshop.

Cheap too...

They don't cause any speaker 'popping' when they switch off? Are these earthed too??

Just had a further look - I could connect both speakers and subwoofer to the Sonoff 4CHR3/PROR3? Is it that easy??
