Welcome Dandi.

You are in a good place to buy parts, many small electronic shops still in business in Indonesia, not like the UK where they are now like unicorns.

But I tried to buy valves [ English for what you call tubes, its an Americanism ] in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand etc and found none at all.

There are many shops with original semiconductors, not suspect later Chinese copies.

Welcome Dandi.

Greetings friend.

Welcome to the forum Dandi, it's always nice to have members from sunny and exotic ( to us) climes. You see the odd video on Youtube posted by chaps in China, Russia, the Philippines and wonder how they manage for parts, knowledge etc what with there not being (AFAIK) a relatively large community of fellow tinkerers.
