First of all, I apologize for my English. Although I've had to use it both spoken and written in my professional life, I know I'm not bilingual and I'm sure I make serious mistakes in its use. I came across this forum looking for a manual for a piece of laboratory equipment I just purchased, trying to complete my simple lab. I'm an electronics engineer, but I've been retired for three years. This has allowed me to pursue my hobbies, which, during my working life, I haven't been able to pay much attention to. During my university studies, I didn't have the opportunity to see vacuum tubes (since they were already obsolete and are currently only used in very specific environments, although I've heard that, due to their quality, miniature tubes are being studied for use in certain equipment where such quality is required). That's the reason I wanted to delve into the world of tube-based devices. I believe this forum will provide me with a lot of new knowledge and that I may also be able to contribute something within my capabilities. I collect and repair vintage radios and valve-based electronic instruments. I'm also a lover of antique mechanical clocks, collecting grandfather clocks, wall clocks, table clocks, pocket watches, and wristwatches (I don't enjoy repairing quartz watches; I find them boring).
