So for those members who went, how did it go - what did you come away with?

I'll never know what bargains I missed, when - as to often happens - I allow nostalgia to override common sense and put aside my de-cluttering mission!

I guess I don't know how lucky I am in not having a nagging wife - quite the opposite, she eggs me on

Even though I didn't go, a big 'thank you' to Mike Barker, Mark ('The Mender'), and everyone else who make it such a nice friendly event.

Hope to bump into a few forum members down at the NVCF on May 10th.

Well all I came away with was a Practical Television magazine but did manage to pass several items on to new owners. Met and chatted to several forum members and managed to persuade a few to buy some of the surplus capacitors, diodes and regulators I had on my stall. No talk this time but I'm in the process of preparing Novembers talk on "Measurements and an Introduction to Fault Finding". As in previous years all are welcome, no booking is required!!

I'll be going to NVCF so may see some of you there.

What a good time we had!
Some very interesting chat with like minded folks, smashing.
It was my first and will not be the last though I will possible miss the November meeting because I will be abroad unless it is early in the month.
Resisted buying another radio, with great willpower, but did get some good odds and ends.
Thanks to Keith for the X and Y caps and for taking the trouble to bring me the 'scope he saved for me.
The display of 405 B&W TVs was great, excellent picture quality.
Shocking weather when we left, shame the meeting didn't go on longer.
Thanks to all concerned for the organising, what would we do without you all?

Hello.

Outstanding morning, Came home with a Edddystone Receiver 840C in good working condition- a Marconi TF2606 RF millivolt meter with the probe and 6 Adapters to fit it -  vintage Taylor meter with leads -  Advance S63F AM/FM signal Genarator that i had been looking for a long time - Heathkit resistor sub box- large bag of capacitors &Diodes& Regulators from Keiths TVs and a small capacitor tester by Hunts.

Alan tell me when you are going to joes in Sheffield and i will take the 39j Radio case over to Joes for you.
