Iam sure many will remember this tv programe from the 50s .After many years of requests to the BBC from me about releaseing the series Acorn Media uk have got released 6 eppisoeds of the first colour series on 2 discs.£16.99 Out today.
Acorn Media have said that if sales go well they will look at signing to release some early B/W eppisoeds aswell.

i think they have missed a trick here the b/w would have had a greater appeal
i mean gorge dixon in colour?

I have to agree with you.I stated this in my requests to the BBC from the 80s up to pressent that it should be the early ones ,but its better than nothing .Still we can hope that if sales go ok that Acorn will keep there word and release the early one fromm the BBC.

Huh typical of my bad luck.Although i preorderd they hadnt enough to send out to all customers,so iam still waiting for mine to come.The possable up side to this is they had said that i was correct in the popularity of this and may now get more eppisoeds released.
