Can anyone help with data on two valves, please?
The first valve is a Cossor 225.D.U. It is a full-wave rectifier on a British 7-pin base, and the labels on the valve and the box explicitly say “2v .5A each filt.” The only internet hit is the Radiomuseum site, but something is wrong as it says it has an 8v filament. It does give CV1454 as an equivalent but I can’t find anything on that elsewhere!
The second valve is a large balloon triode on a four-pin base, it looks similar to a PX25. No maker’s name, the only writing on the valve is A1007. It isn’t in its original box; hand-written on the box are the numbers NT17, A1007, and 2587T, but I have drawn a blank searching for any of these.
Any help appreciated!
Many thanks,
Andy
