I have just unearthed one of these cassette players after 10-20 years hanging around in a cupboard in the dry. It was working perfectly when last used. I have tried to use it and it plays tapes OK and doesn't sound too bad. However it no longer does fast forward or rewind so it is obviously a belt problem. I have looked online for replacement belt kits and I can only find a set in Portugal at a reasonable price.
I am sure if i knew the lengths of the 3 or 4 belts(?) and their cross section, I can probably buy a set of assorted belts from the many suppliers in the UK and use some of those. I have looked at some videos about dismantling the unit and it looks complex so I don't want to embark on it without knowing i can get belts. Does anyone know about the belts used on the CD-330 please?
