Hi Bob,
from Frank's website, the Mullard ECL82 stereo amplifier. https://frank.pocnet.net/other/Mullard/M...tereo2.pdf Geordie McBoyne.

ECL82 and PCL82 are identical apart from the heater.
(It's not always the case - the ECL83 and PCL83, for instance, have different triodes). The '82 is a useful valve!

The radios often used either a combined diode in preamp valve, or if FM, three diodes (EABC80), so usually only needed a pentode alone on the output. Some sets didn't even have a triode preamp (short superhets). A few AM only sets used EBFxx final IF and so could use a triode--pentode.
Of course some record players had a high output cartridge and no triode.

Hi Bob, quite a compact stereo design, but for disc use it would need the pre amp. You may get away without it if using Bluetooth.
Transformers would not be too expensive Ed

Hi Mike thanks for information Hi Ed this is my next Bluetooth Project and I am going to use your transformer kind regards Bob
