CV122, CV61 are pentodes,  triode E1177 equivalent to Mullard DC31 became CV1.  Lots of info here.

I have looked at proximity fuses using valves for interest. Fascinating use and improvement of valve technology available back then. It must take a loony to suggest using valves at 3000g or so (the acceleration of a shell in a gun), I am glad they did. All with only three or four valves!

There's a whole load of USA ones, collectively known as "rocket tubes", which are typically good for 1000G upwards (literally!).
