Hello one and all.

I'm Rob (Mullard) and I have a fascination with Roberts radio sets. I have over 200 in my own collection, all bar a few bought faulty, repaired, restored, packed & put away for my retirement. Many have their original packing, boxes, leaflets & schematics. I have very little interest in digital (DAB cr@p). I am most happy with older components, and quality that you can feel when you have the guts out on the operating bench.

Currently on the bench is a fabulous looking R606MB which needs an LP1181 to complete it. The previous owner has removed components from the module, damaging the board in the process. Any help or donors appreciated.

If anyone needs any info on Roberts, happy to help wherever I can. 

Aside from radios, people like me to work miracles on everything electrical. I am, according to many, a miracle worker...

I have, and am well versed with the circuit itself, I could build one from the ground up. But because it is such a nice set, way above the average, I would like it to be totally original once more. The previous owner has made a right royal mess of removing the previous module.

Hi Rob, I'm new here too. Regarding the 606MB I thought it didn't have the modules like the 606? You say the previous owner removed them..Well I think they may not have been there. I am going to do a check now. Stand by.

Rob, I'm sure you all knew this already. The early 606MB was the same as the 606 with the addition of a mains power supply. Later models dropped the Mullard modules. Sorry if I presumed.
