DC Motor from EAR 'Autobat' Record Player

The other day I unearthed this motor, which I saved from my 'Autobat' many years ag.  It runs from 9vDC, and was fitted to a BSR UA series Autochanger.  Does anyone else remember these or have any info. about them?

I probably have the only surviving motor of that type and vintage. Unfortunately there is no maker's name or model number on it, and I haven't opened it up, but it's probably a mechanical governor type made either by, or for EAR, for use in the Autobat, so it dates from 1962. How well it would work if fitted to a BSR Autochanger now, I don't know, given that it's been in storage for maybe 40 or more years.
