Just thought I would say hi and introduce myself to the forum.

I'm Marc (as you all probably guessed from my user name) and my main interest is collecting and restoring monochrome television sets (bet you guessed that too)  
I am not a professional engineer or ex-trade just an amateur hobbyist who likes humping great big sets around just for fun....Oooh my back (knew I should have taken up making models out of match sticks or stamp collecting)
I think at last count my telly collection was something around 60 sets with about half of them restored and the rest either 'repaired' or on the 'round to it' pile.
I also have a few valve radios around the house and some vintage hifi too.
To be fair if it's old and you can plug it in then I'm probably interested even down to a sizeable collection of pre 60s Christmas lights that's been amassing over the years.

I've noticed one or two familiar names on here from other forums and plenty of names I don't know too, I look forward to participating in the forum as an when I can.

Great to see you here, the more telly men the better, I need to get the finger out and do some more projects but am slowly trying to build up a business, more of that later. Would love to See Marion on here too. Would like to see more 405 line telly restoration threads etc.

Thanks for the welcomes guys, I hope to contribute the odd telly restoration or two in the future but I suspect it will be in the cooler months.....my 8X6 box room workshop is more like boiler house at this time of year.
