Having a working Amplifier from a scrap Koln 'V' (which dates from about 1964) and needing one to go with a later Koin 'Z' head unit, I thought 'No Problem' - I can connect the older amp. to the later radio, which, indeed I could, once I had changed the 'audiio-in' connections to the 9-pole link socket, but then found that the pilot lamp didn't light, which it did with an amplifier borrowed from a Frankfurt of similar age to the Koln (BTW Both Kolns and the Frankfurft (W) are all-transistor radios, the Kolns having motor driven self-seek tuning.) I have circuit diagrams for the later amps., but not the earlier 'V' series one. Due to the way these amplifiers are made (crammed into boxes about 7"x2"x2") it isn't easy to trace out connections, though it could be done, but if anyone has, or knows where I can get, a circuit diagram & PCB layout for the Koln 'V', this would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
