Mobile Phone Service providers

I think I've been with Vodafone for at least 30 years, but their customer service has become a total joke and I think it's time to to look around.

In my neck of the woods, the only decent signals beside Vodafone are with O2 and T-Mobile; anyone have any comments good or bad about those two?

Lebara uses Vodafone network and price is very competitive. I am on an all calls and texts plus 3gb pcm rolling 1 month contract. Roaming is free, which is another big attraction. I joined at something like 99p pcm the first so many months then rising to current £4.99. Never had any problems other than occasional loss of signal in local Lidl. Been with them about 2.5 years.
EE was a joke. Often no signal at my address and in central parts of town, and expensive in comparison plus they introduced roaming charges.

MSE always recommended. The virtual network operators like Lebara, Giffgaff and Smarty are often better value and/or service than the main networks themselves.

I happen to be with Three, somehow paying £8/month for unlimited everything plus all my old roaming rights. Not sure how I got there but I'm not leaving in a hurry!

I'm on Tesco PAYG calls & texts only, 8 pence a minute & 4 pence a text. Perfect for me as I hardly ever use my mobile, if I want to go on line I use my laptop or my wife's smart phone if not at home...

I've been using Smarty for years, it costs me £4 a month as I get £1 back from the previous bill as I don't use any data. no idea about customer service as I've never had to contact them.

I switched to GIffgaff a year ago because EE didn't have any decent offers to keep me with them.

They let you change packages every month if you want to & use the O2 network.

If you want to use the EE network 1p mobile has worked well for me for several years now. I had no problem with GiffGaff previously but was attracted by the 1p charging system.
