Another Barker 88 , left handed.

I have found another Barker 88 unlike the others I have.
The valve line-up is U50 rectifier,ECH35, EF39,6H6GT detector, 6SL7GT amp and phase splitter driving a pair of KT61s in push-pull, with a Y63 tuning eye which may not be the correct eye.
Cabinet is very cheaply constructed, painted ends and nails in the top veneer!

It works well enough now but the tuning eye operation is not correct, permanently 3/4 closed with no signal and only closing slightly more with a strong signal. The AGC line goes from -0.2v to -0.6v with the best signal input. Its as though its not sensitive enough but has a permanent input voltage threshold.
Perhaps its the wrong eye?
Has anyone got  a circuit diagram for this one? Its like no other I have, the 6H6GT is only used in one diode as detector, most odd.

The tuning eye with Y63 is not in the correct orientation which convinces me that it is not correct.
Could it be a 6U5G was the original? I have tried to find out how the displays of these eyes relate to the base but seem unable to find any information.
I can not find any information on this valve line up for a Barker either. As to its year of manufacture I have found no clues. The smoothing capacitor can was missing when I got it which may of had a date on it.
The valves would suggest that it is earlier than the sets with 6V6GT output valves.
