Are you sure it's a SMETS2 meter? There are still very few of them actually installed. The SMETS1 meters also had a SIM. I don't know how you tell the difference.

My 'Real Time Electricity Monitor' is 'New Old Stock', Jeffrey, having been on the Charity Table in the local Electrical Shop I referred to in an earlier post, so it's unlikely to be SMETS2. I bought it about 6 months ago at least, just haven't got around to fitting it yet!

If you can fit it yourself then it's not a smart meter. A smart meter repalces your normal leccy meter.
