This thread has been prompted by the recent discovery of 4 new very early and exciting KB models. The new models are 188 & 189, a 283 and an unknown 1930 radio gramophone with twin record decks and facility to cross fade between them, a sort of home disco unit.
I have for some time now set myself the challenge to try and catalogue every Kolster Brandes radio and other items of their audio only equipment. I have added, to the Radio Museum, all the models I have come across and added photos, where they were missing, to ones already listed in the Radio Museum.
Your help to assist me in my endeavours would be greatly appreciated. If you have a very early, rare or unusual KB item in your collection dont just keep it tucked away in a darkened room, why not let the rest of the world see it.
Have a look on the Radio Museum website to see if your interesting KB Radio already exists in its records and that there are some decent photos showing it off in all its glory.
If you find it is not listed then I am more than happy to propose the model on your behalf and to upload your photos.
Check out the list of known KB models in the Radio Museum and contact me it you have anything to add.
After all its why we are interested in this hobby, to conserve our past radio history and heritage for all to see in the future.
