Two little CRT's

Hi.
My recent fiddling with Z mod on the scope has spurred me on to building a home made TV that will work on the electronic standards and also some of the mechanical standards.
At my disposal I have a VCR97, VCR139 and also these two in the photos. They are magnetic deflection, one is a 3 inch TL6  and the other a 5 inch 7BP7.
The TL6 I have no idea about but it is a regunned tube from "Tele Luminaire" of Stockport, bent gun and standard 12 pin CRT base.
Not sure what way to go yet but the little 3 inch tube looks interesting.

Magnetic is challenging but not impossible for a wide range of line frequencies.

The P7 phosphor is a dual yellow/blue example which gives an almost B&W picture with a very long, very dim yellow afterglow. Much better than a P2 (green) example.

Hi.
The smaller CRT is down to air and the heaters are O/C so that rules that one out.
I'm now going to concentrate on the 7BP7.

I have a 2" JVC CRT TV/Radio, really only useful for the radio (it's also only working on VHF, though the TX ended 2012, must make modulator). so I'd recommend the 5" tube anyway ... Is the 7BP7 the P7 phosphor? If so may look nicer and be sharper than a 'scope green.
