Is that a photo of the bottoms of the pushbuttons? They don't look like to top of mine.
In the US the material is called "Tenite" and is some sort of thermosetting plastic
filled with (hold you breath and nose) casein! The whole bezel is that.
Mine were not seriously deformed but had shrunk so they would not rotate on the metal shaft.
I spent two hours slowly working each one off the shaft, then more hours using a slightly oversize
1/8 inch reamer (by hand, Tenite does not like power tools) to make them slide nicely
on the shaft. They now work fine.
I suspect that filled epoxy will stick and could be used for replacing the malformed nubbins.
