I'm in the process of repairing a Roberts R300 (replacing the AF117s with 3 x GF322A) and wondered what the difference between this model and the 3rd version of the R200 was, as I don't see any obvious differences, checking this set against the R200 circuit diagram. If anyone knows of any differences, I'd be interested to know what they are. BTW the pin-outs of the GF322A makes for easy fitting in the R300, as the original AF117s are fitted in such a way that only the screen & collector leads of the GF322 need crossing over. They can then be inserted in the PCB with relative ease. I fitted sleeving on the base & collector leads of the replacement transistors to ensure that, in particular, the screen & collector leads of the GF 322As couldn't touch each other.
