yes there is a short wave along with MW and LW, I think the original knobs matched the tuning one.

the colume pot is just that with no on off, I used a modern one for safety. It is the same set honest!
One to be proud of!

Brilliant.. having the back with one of the original knurled nuts is a bonus too eh?.. and what about all those lovely gold Mullards.. each one a worker?
I still think it packed in sometime soon after the smoothing block was replaced at a guess sometime mid 50's and possibly being declared uneconomic was put to one side and a set with FM bought.. The state of the cabinet when found seems to suggest it went into a shed or workshop.

Nice wireless now.. bet it sounds lovely.
