I've finally cracked getting WordStar to print from a 'Modern' computer. The problem was two-fold: DOS programmes can't access USB ports and WordStar didn't seem to have a suitable driver for my printer. It was especially annoying as I knew it was possible.
I did find a program years ago which would sort it out but the only free version was a 'Trial' with a limited life.
Last night I found a wholly free one and after a bit of fiddling about (including typing raw hex into one of the printer drivers) it works very nicely.
