Hi all,
I'm still pleased with my Matamp Little Rock amp that I bought about 5 years ago for the sum of £299. Its handwired and pumps out a massive 4watts through a 6V6 valve (it is loud I can assure you).
They dropped it from their range as it was not cost effective to keep making them so they are resonably rare and I have seen them for sale for almost twice as much.
On the down side (and my heart sinks at this point) I sold a Ripper Bass copy guitar in 1978 for £60 made by Kimbara with a set neck and played like a dream (I've not played another bass as good). I sold this to buy a heap of a Ford Popular from a friend. The back axle seized on its way to be delivered to me as well.
I've not seen another bass like it and I would dearly like to get hold of another.
