I like valve amps, I have a few Heathkit. For a change I purchased a Rogers Cadet 3 with a few problems, rustling, pops, distortion.
I've done the useual, out of spec cap's, tested the valves and found a bad ecl86, cleaned the valve base's.
Couldn't find any criteria for the ecc807's so couldn't test (wonder why?). So put all back together and so far sounding sweet.
I tried to find more info on the ecc807's then I found out what you all know!!.
Assuming I'm going to keep the little jezebel and thinking if a 807 goes down, are there instructins as to converting
to take ecc83's?. I know it's not straight forward but she is a nice amp.
