Spectrum analysers

I'm not really an RF engineer and don't need any more RF testgear but has anyone tried these products: https://signalhound.com/

Not cheap, but decent RF tech is never cheap and it's a lot less than buying Tektronix or Keysight (was HP) and probably rather less than Rigol. You seem to get an awful lot of RF capability for your money. Whether it's spectrum analysis or if you add a tracking generator.

Not exactly "proper" spectrum analysers either. Not like Anritsu. I think about 12 years ago decent analysers were well over €20,000. So these are about 1/2 price because of no screen? For the really expensive ones. The smaller USB only interface models are very cheap.
Most of the people I knew using them were not using them in labs (though I was), they had them in their 4 x 4s.
We didn't have a big budget so had a secondhand HP141T bought from Germany. In rather better condition than my own that I've had more than 15 years.

I'd not buy test gear at those prices without either using it or having a friend that's using it. But I guess I'm retired now so will make do with my ancient gear.
