W10 Browser change: how to get back?

Its the browser that comes with W10 (Edge?) which used to fill the full screen.  But now with no desire from me has activity boxes on top (that is windows open).  But this takes up space and I dnt want it.  Maybe came from one of their upgrades.

Any ideas please on how to get rid of it: cant find a way myself.

Can you not just click on the top header and drag it back to the top of your screen.

I suppose if you must use Edge as your browser then you have to put up with it. Firefox and Chrome are the best of the mainstream browsers. Some will favour less common browsers. I use FIrefox.

click on the upward pointing(inverted V) (right at the top middle ish)clicking switches the 2 modes

Since January 2020, Edge uses the same Chromium engine as Chrome, albeit with a different interface. Microsoft have dropped their own engine.

Firefox, Edge and IE each have about 7% of the browser market.

Chrome has about 70% and is slowly increasing its market share. The rest are tiny %tages.
