Choke capacity coupling from the RF amp to the Regen det is ok if you can get it right, a little regeneration due to an anode choke in the RF stage can enhance front end selectivity, too much and it will turn into an oscillator.

The output stage of the Siemen's T10 MF marine transmitter had a Pi network, but have no idea how it would go in a detector stage of a receiver!     I am more "practical" than "theory" nowadays - never was much of a scholar!

Using a Pi filter in the anode of your detector would reduce the amount of Regen feedback available, best used in a Hartley configuration.
