Myford ML" restoration

Hi Gents, I'm busy restoring a quite nice ML2 lathe from the 30's to send out to my son. Most things are in reasonable nick and it is coming together nicely, but the bull wheel has teeth missing in 3 places. Little chance of finding one of these, but I believe it is very similar to the ML7 etc 65 tooth changewheel, which has a smaller bore. I'm going to advertise for an ML7 type and other change wheels, then bore out the centre diameter to 1" as is required for the ML2.

Any thoughts on this gents?

What'sit made of Ed? CI or Steel. If Steel it's open to being built up - Weld - and reshaped. If CI it's more tricky.

Hi Alan, mid 30's stuff and it looks like CI by the grain structure on the fractures. I did think of machining out and fitting an MS piece then soldering and re-cutting the teeth, but if I can get an ML7 one and machine out the bore that will be a lot easier.
