You're lucky - I donated a bunch of rare dekatrons to the Witch project at Bletchley and never even got an acknowledgement, let alone a "thank you". Others I know who also donated dekatrons and other valves had the same experience.

It has been brought to my attention that there has been a lack of acknowledgement and appreciation when valves have been donated to the Colossus and Witch projects at The National Museum of Computing.
 
I would like to sincerely apologise for this omission and let everyone who has kindly donated valves know that the staff, volunteers and visitors to the museum appreciate their generosity in supplying the valves which allow us to continue to preserve the world’s historic computers.

I donated some Dekatrons to the Witch project via the BVWS stand at Golborne a few weeks ago, and got an appreciative thank you email the following day from the gentlemen who helped organise the contact following Gary 'Radio Fixer's post no #9.

My (and others') issues with them were a few years ago when I believe that they might haver been going through some sort of transition.

All sorts of stuff was promised and never materialised.

From what you say, they now seem to have their act together. Water under the bridge.
