Alan, I might have posted that link sometime in the past, can't remember exactly, yes quite an informative document.
I was trying to get my head round the different types ie: De Sauty's, Schering, Maxwell, Wein etc etc.

Hi Lawrence, very interesting. The text is somewhat simpler than in "Alternating Current Bridge Methods" by Hague, one of my standard text books.
Bridge methods have been neglected but are a good way of taking measurements; worth a read for new ideas!
