i think i am with joe. when i worked in the trade we never reformed a cap but the replacements were readly avalble ,i have since built a reformer and have had good results with it .but i think i would still use new ones given the choice . i get stuck some times with multi caps as i dont like hanging bits on.i find most caps reform themselves over a few hours.more inportant to check for leakage.ps ones i have reformed seem to have a good lifespan .agree about dac90a smoothers never had a duff one.
