G2DAF ssb TX, variant: beneath chassis.

Although this a 'variant' what you see here is very much the same as the 'standard build' G2DAF TX.

    G2DAF ssb transmitter.

This transmitter was built in substantial numbers by Radio Amateurs and for many, it was their first foray with ssb. The RFPA uses a pair of 6146 valves and a separate PSU is necessary.
The model as shown is very much the 'standard build', but many variants were constructed.

    KW Vanguard - AM/CW transmitter.

This is an example of a beautiful restoration on this fine, old transmitter.
    The VFO is a Geloso 'drop-in' ass'y.; the P.A. is a 6146.
