Lets see who is going to be first to see what this bit of kit is?
There is a dragon fly trying to read the bar code however it failed to go "beep" so I have come to the conclusion that it has failed to make an ID.
I do have more photos including some that are quite impressive.

Looks like a seismic survey data acquisition unit. The FCC I'd is for a u-blox WiFi module.

So my vote is for a geophysical analysis data logger with wireless communications capability.

Yes they sure are seismic sensors.
The sweep generators that are being used with them are a great deal more impressive.
They are eight wheel drive too.
The operators are friendly enough for photos to be taken too.
They sweep from something like 10hz to about 150hz at a power in the KW region. They are like big wheely loud speakers that point right into the ground.
If they find what they are looking for a fracking well will be constructed.
