I've been playing with my DSO150 as I recently came across some new updates.
There is a useful unofficial user manual available on the JYE forum here.
It's a bit clearer than those supplied with it.
Using the latest firmware and a USB/TTL converter gives a serial interface.
There is a Python program here to talk to this.
I've updated my firmware but haven't tried it yet as I'm still waiting for my converter to arrive from China.
I've been using one of these 'USB to DC Convert Cable 5V to 9V Voltage Step-Up Cable 5.5x2.1mm DC Male' to power the unit from a standard USB power supply (or power bank).
(less than £1.50 from the usual Chinese suspects)

ps Mine was from Bangood and was genuine, JYE provided the activation code required without any problem.
