I got a VNA that goes to a couple of GHz. Takes a bit of learning how to drive it for different things, but invaluable for adjusting any aerial or finding a 1/4 wave on particular coax at a particular frequency. Moving a pin / needle back & forth as a short at the 1/4 wave distance with open end soldered to an SMA socket, short barrel to connect to analyser.
The FT818ND doesn't take up much space. A bag or case with carry strap and accessories and rather lighter than the FTdx10 to take out. Why not keep it? Get an Elecraft T1 and a CB telescoping base like silver stick and remove coil in side base. Work in a layby with it mounted on car towing eye. Or walking with quad band 2m/70cm/6m/10m car whip on back with a trailing 2.5m wire as a counterpoise.
