Hi all
I have been working on this project since several month ago, and I know some friend here know about it, as they should probably have seen it on UKVRRR forum, but I like to share it with everybody here, and get some help when need it, as I'm a newbie in the world of valves despite having several years of experience working with transistors.
I decided to start this project because my old Soviet oscilloscope C1-94 is failing constantly and is not reliable, so I have fix it too many times and I have to "rest" from it, but on the other hand I really need a scope for my work on electronics.
My country have a very special situation, so, our economy is not the best and to buy a new scope is not an option. Scopes are not sold in the shops neither, and in the case that they do, it would be beyond my economical reach. So I decided to build my own oscilloscope, because I felt that I have all parts needed (some of them kindly sent by my friend Andy (aka Mr Clock), and with the help of other british friends) It was my friend Andy who told me to open a thread here to ask for help on understanding the circuitry.
Now I will share some pictures of what I have done on the scope. I took as basis, the Serviscope Minor and the PE65 (Practical Electronics 1965) scopes, for their simplicity and availability of parts, and also because on first glance I understand how the circuit works.
