Mine was also an eBay deal - about 2 years back someone dumped about 30 or 40 onto the market. I got the tip-off from the EEVBlog forum. The first ones were brand new in boxes, and the BIN price was £200 including delivery! Next, some used ones for the same price, and then the price crept up slightly (£200 plus £15 P&P). Sadly, I didn't spot it in time for the new ones, but I'm very happy with what arrived. The VFD is a bit patchy, but new ones can be bought from Tek (but at £50 plus, I'll make do with mine).
The audio side is a gimmick really - I hardly use it, and bought it primarily for the precision of the DMM section.
