I am doing some research into signal generators manufactured by Advance. Apart from bringing my own store of info. up to date, this will also enable me to add more info. to the Gallery. There are some gaps in my accumulated 'data store' in this category, so I'm asking if anyone here can help fill some of those gaps. I know that Alan Beckett is a collector of such items, and much of the data that I have to date has indeed been provided by him - thanks Alan - you may be able to help me further.
Just for a start to get things moving; first two questions.
It appears that Advance manufactured generators in a huge range of types and variants, but all with two types of prefixes for that wide range of generators: numbers and letters: e.g. Type 62, Type 66, Type 81, etc. and Type B4, Type H1, Type J2, etc. But my 'data store' lists number types starting at Type 62 and ending at Type 81 - with a few gaps in between. Were there any number type prefixes produced outside of that range? E.g. Type 30, 31, 32; 50, 51, etc.
Similarly the letter prefixes. I have from Type B4 through to Type P1 - again with a few gaps. Were there any letter type prefixes produced outside of that range? E.g., Type A, and Type Q, R, etc.
