It was interesting in that it showed the two competing systems but I felt the programme should have covered EMI at Hayes Middlesex a little more; that said; 80 years is a very long time ago now and the programme also had to appeal to the casual bbc4 viewer who enjoys a documentary, or Timewatch type series, so on reflection, it probably struck the right balance.
