One of those eBay meters is on its way. The first link in post #5 is from a UK supplier, and promises delivery by Thursday. I'll do a review when it arrives.

RS are promising to have them in stock at the start of April, so I'll pick one of those up as well (unless anyone else fancies doing so?). I'm hoping that it'll be totally different internally - the eBay units could be a rip-off of them. We shall see, and hopefully we'll end up doing RS a bit of a favour.

I spotted that, Rob, but I suspect it's a mistake. If it was, it would surely be emblazoned across the front panel, and mentioned in the datasheet? But easy enough to check when it arrives...

I'd be amazed if the eBay specials are true RMS, but again, I'll report back
