I bought two multimeters when I was young.
The first was Japanese and well made apart from a tiny gap between the clear plastic dial and the case above the zero adjuster. Say no more
The second was a Supertester680R from Russia.
It lasted a few years and finally ended its life connected to a car battery on an amps range
I do from time to time take one of my AVOs down from the shelf to bring back memories of the good old days
