Hi.
When I have something to fix or work on inevitably the scope is on before the soldering iron!
Unfortunately a few weeks back my Tek scope went dead in the midst of a repair job on a TRF radio. The fault was a blown Tantalum capacitor, that and a couple of others that are known to fail were replaced with suitable electrolytic capacitors of double the value and the scope is running beautifully, it was like loosing an arm.
