You are indeed correct about using most 4mm connectors. I should have looked more closely at the KLEP probe as it has a locking screw to stop the connection lead from falling out, but of course it has to be unscrewed to insert the connector initially (doh!!). Now they leads I have bought are a really good fit and being screwed down slightly, don't fall out either!
